Description

Londres is an authentic Tico town 10 miles east of Quepos, with its world class Sports Fishing.  World famous Manuel Antonio National Park is about another 5 miles south of Quepos. Londres is only 7 miles from the regional hospital and the airport, which is being expanded. With a population of 1500, there are 9 buses daily servicing the area.  Londres is home of the London Bridge. It was totally renovated in 2012 after TS Thomas.   Londres is cooler than Quepos, and because of the canopy, this facility is cooler than the surrounding area.  Londres has elementary school, a local clinic, numerous churches, a well stocked mini-super, a few smaller pulperias, and 3 soda/restaurants.  The central park park has been renovated (2018) and there's a lighted soccer field with bleachers and a rest room.  The property is located on HWY 616, 6 mile (10K) east of the Costenera HWY 34.  HWY 616 IS currently being paved.  Construction of the new High School began in January and it is schedule for classes in July, 2018. This property had clear title, and very low taxes.  Current taxes are about $200 annually including weekly trash collection. Utilities: AYA (muni) water, ICE: phone, internet and electric. The existing furnished facility has 7 bedrooms, 3 tiled bath, 2 complete kitchens, a 12 X 24' yoga space and a furnished Lanai. It was built in 3 stages. Del Rey is a self-contained, apartment, or Master Suite. It has a Tico King, and the second bedroom has a double plus an individual.  There is a full bath with tiled shower and tub. It also has a very large sitting area, with recently upholstered Lazy Boy recliner.  Complete kitchen with full utensils. Built in 1990. The Casa Vieja is the original farmhouse (1960s?) and it has 3 "budget" rooms, a complete kitchen and the shared bath is in the "cuarto Pila", a Utility Room, complete with a Tico Semi-automatic washing machine. The solar clothes dryer is out the back door.  The 12 X 24 foot yoga floor is above the Casa Vieja. Its hardwood floor is on trusses of teak harvested from the finca. The supports and roof are are constructed of bamboo also harvested from the finca. There is a furnished Lanai connecting to the Queen suite. Both rooms have a queen bed, a sink in the room and a fan.  Sunset also has an individual bed.  These rooms share a "Jack n Jill"  toilet and shower.  They both offer large garden views, and our most popular rooms.
