The commune is located in the center of the county, on the left bank of the Mostiștea river and on the banks of its tributary, Argova . it is crossed by the county road DJ303, which leads to the northwest to Gurbănești , Sărulești and Tămădău Mare (where it ends in DN3 ), and to the south to Frăsinet and Manăstirea (where it ends in DN31).
