We have 2 local cafes as well as a pizza chain. The town offers a public pool which is a mile down the road from our community. Towanda offers amazing schools! We have students being transferred from other towns near by to just go to our schools. You're not far from Wichita,Kansas if you want to do some major shopping or find different employment opportunities. If a big city isn't for you to shop, we have two different options 10 minutes away from our park; El Dorado and Augusta. If the city has to much noise for you and you need something quiet then come check out our park!
