The Cozy Nest Cottages are a small group of vintage cottages located across the street from the Niantic River in East Lyme, Connecticut. The cottages are secluded, on a dead end street, and border the Oswegatchie Hills, one of the last stretches of pristine woods on the Connecticut coastline. There is no beach at this location, but there is a small boat launch that is great for kayaks and canoes. Our location is quiet and private, yet convenient to I-95 and to the areas many attractions. East Lyme is a lively, vibrant area of the Connecticut shoreline with lots to do. Picturesque downtown Niantic, complete with shops and a movie theater just a few miles down the road. Great restaurants, beaches, parks, activities for kids, and cultural attractions abound. Unlike most rental properties we are licensed and inspected annually by the town of East Lyme. These simple yet charming cottages offer a rare commodity: affordable summer stays in Southeastern Connecticut. Cottage Six is perched atop a path of stone steps. It consists of an open studio-style space of about 300 square feet with a kitchen and dining area, full bathroom with shower, queen bed, a small loft, a couch and a deck. Cottage Six sleeps two.
